I guess from other replies that there is no convenient way to check the 12v batt status using the display screen inside the car. So....I'll just do what I have done with all my other cars for the last few years; change out the battery for a new one every three years. Since modern cars give no warning when the battery gets weak, this makes the most sense to me.
