16,659 Oil change interval success!

    Also using a Microgreen oil filter. The filter has a bypass filtration component. Blackstone recommends going to 20,000 miles next time! Though I prefer one morning to change oil in all my cars once per year.

    Using Amsoil SSO this time with 3.3 TBN remaining. Last time I used Mobil 1 Extended and had 2.4 TBN with 12k miles.

    Nice to see someone else treating their car and oil changes in a professional manner. Ensures the car engine is well maintained, the environment does not get perfectly good oil dumped into it, and ensures the good oil makers get the business.

    I'm obviously doing the same thing.

    Great! Are you concerned with the depletion of the (additive?) elements Mo and B? I will have to try this a few years down the road when the warranty runs out. :)
