Help! I need help finding headlight grounds for a prius 17 that go on the passenger side fender held by two 10mm both of the cables were ripped by a dog looking for a squirrel. One cable is BROWN held by a 10mm and the other cable is WHITE with a Black stripe. I'm having issues with the right blinker staying completely on and the headlight blinking when i put the turn signal going right. any help if appreciated. I posted pics of current damage. the wiring harness ground that are complete on the pic is from the driver side.
i tried edit the thread but i couldn't figure how to do it to put the info. Anyhow thanks for the diagram but I cannot find the BROWN cable in the wiring harness that goes to fender and back towards the car near and around the coolant reservoir. Do you know if in another diagrams if the brown (broken cable on pic) connects/taps to another colored cable? please help . TIA
A Prius v is the wagon (lowercase) while a Prius V is a hatchback trim V. Assuming you have a v trim 2, 3 or 4 then it’s halogen headlights. A v trim 5 is LED headlights. My drawing does not include the DRLs you may have. With halogen trace the white black from the sockets back to a junction (probably in the harness right there) where the brown continues to the ground. Or if the dog got the brown I would trace from that direction to the junction pulling off tape or covering on the harness.
