As you see in the pictures I uploaded. I got two scratches and I want to know the easiest way to clean that up. I am looking to trade in this car at the same dealership for a 2020 Prius prime since it can get up to 230 mpg and it has a battery that gives out 25 miles range my 2016 Prius c one only gives me 50-70 mpg I think if they see two scratches they will remove maybe $1k from the value so wanted to see how to fix that myself what you guys think
looking to trade the car in, if they sell those scratches i am sure they will reduce the value down. you feel me.
Based not on a guess but on actual experience.......most dealers will KNOW that the scratches are, or were, there even if you get them professionally fixed. They seem to have Xray vision when inspecting used cars. BUT....small stuff like that really shouldn't reduce your trade-in value much if any. Don't obsess. BUT......if you take it to them with that much dirt and grime all over the car, they will look a LOT closer.
copy that. yeah i will end up doing a thorough clean near the dealership so the car looks impeccable upon arrival
