I can go 2 directions: New battery from dealer installed or DIY install of NexPower Lithium. Both would cost about the same. Both would likely provide similar LONGEVITY. If the car was newer I would go with the Lithium battery and gladly install it myself. Yet with this old Prius, it seems the advantage lies on the side of the dealership. Any input? thanks, Jim The rebuilt Dorman is 7 years old and I cleaned the contacts but didn't improve matters. The blades did not appear uniform when measured; many were around 7.5 but had one @ 6.5, 10 @ 7.3 along with every warning/trouble light and intermittent high-rev. issue (requiring restarting the car).
