Hey, I'm new here and would love some feedback on this issue. About a month ago my car threw a check engine light and the red triangle along with some other warnings on the dashboard screen. Took it to a mechanic had the spark plugs switched out and it was good until today. We drove around all day, came to a parking lot and was sitting there on my phone when I felt the engine started shaking and shut off, I tried cranking it back up and it cut off again after some shaking. Popped the hood checked my oil, oil is good I noticed the coolant fluid was low, I filled it up gave it another crank and let the engine run, after about maybe 1 minute and a half I got back in the car and engine shut off once again, I tried cranking again put in drive and it shut off again, now it won't crank at all. Thanks to everyone that reads this and can give me any input on what the issue might be, now i need to get it towed to the house and get the code reader to see if any codes came up.
Have you had any issues with oil getting really low in the recent past? How low was coolant? Have you seen much water vapor coming out of exhaust pipe or does it smell like coolant at the end of your exhaust pipe?
