Hi everyone, I've been looking into this a little bit, but would like some expert advice. Can the later (2006-2009) high resolution MFD fit into the 2004-2005 models? I know they have different part numbers, and that one of the connectors is of a different design. I believe the different connector is for the speakers, video input etc. The power connector seems identical. So my question is, has anyone ever tried fitting the high res MFD into a 04/05 Prius? Alternatively, does anyone have electrical schematics of both types of MFD? Thank you kindly.
Following. No one on PC able to get newer MFD working on 04-05 prius due to different connecter. I would love to install higher resolution MFD as well the backup camera with it. Yes the connector are different.. but i think it is possible if you replace the harness. The harness to somewhere(ECU?) should be same and plug right in
