I ordered a 2004(5) Package #9 (BC) from Orland Toyota. Left a $500 deposit. We "want" Tideland Pearl, Seaside Pearl or Salsa but will take any colors except black or white. Sales lady told us 8 months to a year?????? We're #23 on the "list." As an update to this post, we took our name off the last last year after waiting a few months and were disgusted by not being able to get a Prius. Friday (7-22-05) when I went to the Toyota dealer to have the oil changed on my wife's 1998 Corolla, there was a package #9 millenium silver Prius for sale - the rest is history. We've had it two days and are pretty excited about it.
around here, if you can even get anybody to take an order, they are saying 18 months! (long island) and prices, in the sense of added markup over list, seem to still be rising...
My Dealer Hey you might make a trip south of I 80 and see if my Dealer ( Dan Hecht Toyota) might get it for you more quickly. you can get info on them at Dan Hecht Chevy Toyota.
