2005 black emblem keyfob

    Does anyone know the difference between the 2005 black emblem key fob vs the silver emblem one? My current master key fob is silver, and I just bought one black emblem key fob from Ebay, but do not know how to progam / add the extra keyfob. Do i have to go to the dealer to have it program? thanks

    There was a short discussion of that here a while back I think. It was determined that if you have SKS the Toyota emblem on the back of the fob is silver; if you do not have SKS the emblem is gold. No one mentioned a black one. Yes I think only the dealers have the equipment to program the fob.
