I have been having a problem with my fuel gauge. It seemed to be stuck. I took it in today and they tested the gauge which is working...and then did the reset. We then filled the tank and no luck so they are replacing the tank... Is there anything I should watch out for? thanks
i have a 05 prius also. my fuel gage resets and says i have nothing. some days i will have a full tank i will come back the next day and only have 3/4. the dealership says "they can find anything". but i have about 15 other eletrical/computer problems.
Check the Toyota Service Bulletins section of the site. There's a link to enter your VIN number. Even though the fuel-tank TSB was for 2004 vehicles, it's possible yours is also affected.
