Any recommendations on who can do this work in the SF Bay Area, Calif? Car has near-new toyota hybrid battery, new computer, catalytic converter theft shield, around 150K miles. (either oil pan was punctured or the engine ran out of oil - thrown rod.) Had a deal on a used engine to replace blown gas engine on 2005 Prius then mechanic bailed out. Plan is to replace bad engine with a good, used Japanese one and then sell to recoup costs. Or, should it be parted out?
