I am currently encountering a problem with a 2005 Toyota Prius which has the oem hid lights. They work fine for a few minutes and then both lights simultaneously go out. I can shut them off and turn them back on but it cycles every few minutes. Any ideas?
Possibly bad bulbs followed by a bad ballast. How many miles are on it? You're lucky that they lasted this long. For 06s to 09s, where they switched from D2R to D4R bulbs (and a different ballast), the bulbs tended to be much shorter lived.
