2006 2nd set for 6 months, totally dead now

    I let my 2006 Prius sat for 6 months, since the hybrid battery was dead. Now even with trigger charged the 12v, the car is still completely dead. Not a single light came on, including the flashing key light.

    Sounds like the 12v battery is dead/flat.

    Try disconnecting the old 12v, and connect a different 12v source (trickle charger?) and see what happens.

    smart key system unless turned off will drain 12v to zero in 6 months time
