How many miles on your car and what sort of roads do you drive on? Many on hear have changed both front and rear shocks, do a search on shock replacement. Most use KYB. Please do not use capitals throughout your posts it is considered to be shouting.
The consensus of opinion on PC seems to be to change the shocks at 80,000plus miles or if they are leaking or knocking. My own car in the UK has reached this millage but the ride still feels fine and road holding is good (for a Prius) so I will not be changing mine any time soon. Our roads are not to bad although there are though's who will disagree, but having worked in many country's our roads are better than most. No doubt many more people will respond with there opinions to your post. John.
Yes, I've replaced the front shocks/rear struts on my 2001 and 2004 and am thinking about doing so on the 2007. Your choices are basically to purchase the Toyota-branded part made by KYB or the KYB aftermarket part - so not much of a choice after all. If you think that the ride is rough then new struts/shocks should help.
