2006 with 230,000 miles just bought it last week. Noise in front passengers side so I pulled wheel and the router looks like its 15 years old with 230,000 miles. Laid on a true surface and it has a very very slight warp. Normally I would say hell with it and slap it back on but this is a Prius and i am going to make her go forever. Was just going to replace the 1 router but came across this kit. What are the experts opinion? https://www.carparts.com/details/Toyota/Prius/Powerstop/Brake_Disc_And_Drum_Kit/2006/P15KOE15202DK.html?TID=gglpla&origin=&utm_source=google&utm_medium=pla&utm_campaign=12187415880&gclid=Cj0KCQjwse-DBhC7ARIsAI8YcWKGIHH92SWgCaSd_315PSRpnQ6TUejWCGbKiVIV64jUBgpk4J_KruMaAgu3EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Prius brake are cheap. Replace the rotor, brake pads and be on your way. I wouldn't throw tons of money on this car at 230,000 miles. You should drive it for a month before deciding how many gremlins you want to tackle.
Sorry Parker bad speller and phone auto correct hates me. But I make up for it by thinking I can do the impossible
Change both rotors and you might as well change the pads as well while you're in there. Never change just one side whether that be the rotors and/or pads. The rotors and pads last forever on a Prius so I change the rotors when I change the pads. I give them a good clean and lube every 2 years.
"Premium" aftermarket rotors and pads are cheap enough and will work fine. Check Toyota prices online because they might be cost competitive. I would replace both rotors at the same time (and do pads). Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
