I own a 2006 with NAV. It's got the hi-res screen. I understand the nav video info is the NAV unit to the MFD using GVIF, correct? Where would a reverse camera connect to, the MFD or the NAV unit? If I get a Toyota OEM camera, where does that connect to? What about composite to RGBS conversion? Where does that happen? Ugh...Please help.
The reverse camera is composite analog signal. People use the splitter to create input for DVD, etc... I forget exactly where it connects to. In order to tap the digital GVIF interface, you need an expensive converter. There is a thread TheForce put his work into.
