just thought i'd spread the word: the 07's are coming the 07's are coming! they are at the SET port/distribution facility as we speak. i'd guess they'll be loaded on to trucks and distributed coming up real soon. anyone waiting for an 07 non-hybrid camry? oh and a note on the CamHy: regional folks are heading up to KY for a technical overview and test drive next week. sounds like things are movin' along.
niice. Did anyone check Carson Toyota's inventory?!? On their site, it says they have >60 07 Camrys! "A few months later" is all they said so I'm assuming the Camry Hybrid will be here by summer.
Production of the hybrid was suppose to start 10 days ago. So... it's probably safe to use the word "soon".
Not FRACKIN' soon enough. Sure I waited 7 months for my Prius. But that was almost easy because I didn't really appreciate what I was waiting for. Now that my wife is talking about getting a HyCam and when she sees the commercial and actually says, "that's what my car looks like?" I just can't wait to get her inside one of her own.
I saw a hybrid Camry prototype that a Toyota engineer was driving, at the OC Prius Club meeting this past Saturday. I didn't get any pictures, as I completely forgot I even had my camera. Maybe Cathy was able to get some though...nice looking car, btw. Body style reminded me of a Lexus.
