My high mileage Hybrid has developed a serious and sometimes severe vibration that occurs under both acceleration and braking. The brake pedal and steering wheel do not vibrate. The vibration comes from the frame of the car. Brakes, rotors are in spec. Toyota wants $150 just to look at it, but they think whatever it is will be too expensive to fix. Any ideas or information?
Find a mechanic you trust in your neighborhood, the closer to home the better, even if it's just some dude who loves to work on cars... Don't give a penny to the criminal car stealerships!!!
