The first sympton I noticed was the triangle, VSC, and TPM lights on while i was driving. I immediately returned home and parked the car. I got on this Prius chat to figure out what was wrong. I put the car in maintenance mode and noticed that the 12 V battery was at 11.6. There were no codes. I disconnected the battery and had took it to autozone to charge. The battery was at 64% and they charged it to 100. I put the battery back in the car and it started right away. i drove around for 30 minutes and parked. That was a Saturday. By Tuesday, my car was dead again. The car's electrical system turned on but it would not go into drive. I removed the 12 V battery again, took to autozone to charge. I put the battery back in but the car would not go into drive. I had it towed to the mechanic who found that there was a 90milliamp drain on the battery because - wait for it- the KEYFOB needed a new battery. Yeah. So they replaced the battery in the keyfob and tested the drain and it was down to 10. So let the keyfob be one of the simple things you check before replacing battery or the inverter.

If the warning lights were on, the car had trouble codes! Most scanners can not communicate with the hybrid control ECU and HV battery ECU, so they will not detect the code I listed below. What scanner was used?

The symptoms that you describe could be trouble code P0AA6 " Hybrid Battery Votage System Isolation Fault". The problem that you have has nothing to do with the key fob battery. You will have the same problem again until you can read the trouble codes and fix the problem that is triggering the code.

You first had problems with the car in October 2023, as noted in the thread that you created: https://priuschat.com/index.php?threads/243997/ . The problem that you have now is related to the original problem that you wrote about.
