I am considering the purchase of a 2008 Prius with a mileage figure of 67,000. I owned a 2006 Prius with similar mileage and had to sell it due to leaving the country, but felt it could go on forever. Am I right, or will the battery and the electric engine start to wear out at this point? What are the risks that I should consider?

welcome! my daughters '08 with over 100k is a beast, other than the recalls. but i wouldn't be surprised if the hybrid battery went south at some point.
