Fellow Members, I recently had my '09 serviced for it first 5k oil change. Amongst the discussion with the service personnel they recommenced a Toyota brand fuel additive to help in the cleaning/mainitance of the fuel injectors. As Oregon is one of the now many states with 10% Ethanol, I did some quick searching on here and found a few older post regrading Ethanol concerns, and was wondering if I should have had them add it (cost was only $8.99), as I declined at the time? Thanks for your input. ( I posted this as a reply to another thread as well, but thought I would ask in the main forum as well)
You chose well. It would have been a complete waste of money. E10 is cleaning the injectors constantly.
