DTC P1121. Inverter Coolant Control Valve Car has 296,455 miles. 18 months ago we replaced this valve to clear the P1121 code, which it did. Ran fine up until this month. Has anyone had this issue? What I mean is, the. first valve lasted over 290,000 miles and the second one maybe less than 15,000 miles. OR---am I missing some other possibility? When I check the coolant in the overflow container I can see the fluid moving along at a quick pace. Car drives completely normally. Problem is that it will not pass inspection with this error code set. I have ordered another valve in the meantime but have trouble believing the valve only lasted 18 months. Need some ideas, please!!
