Hello, New Prius III owner, and loving it! I purchased the NavCap from JuicedHybrids. It fits on the nav using thin plastic tabs that wedge between the screen and the control buttons on either side and on top. I find that the fit is so tight that if I press one of the buttons (CD, SAT, Map, etc.) it sticks in the down position. I went for a drive right after I put it on, and the radio starting changing stations on its own because of this. Anyone else experience this and/or have any suggestions? I'm about to return it. Thanks!
That's because you didn't buy it here from Priuschat: PriusChat Shop : 2010-2011 Toyota Prius Sun Visor Hood for Navigation Screen [2010PriusHood] - $35.00 Just kidding of course, I haven't used one so I am not sure but perhaps filing a small bit off the sides of the tabs (and I mean just a small bit) will still hold it in place while keeping the buttons from sticking. If you think it can be done without major damage worth a shot before returning it.
