I have a 2010 with a foggy center mileage display. the dealer told me thay have to remove the dash to get the part number of the dispaly before they can order a replacement. Is this correct?
No. They should have the part numbers for these parts and should be able to order the parts prior to removing the dash. This MID issue is a known issue with Toyota. My dealer was able to remove mine and clean the lenses thoroughly and did not have to replace the unit.
