My 2010 Prius is not able to read the map disk reliably. Sometimes the nav unit works fine but within 10 minutes it reports no map disk or is unable to read it. Sometimes it is unable to read at engine start. Removing and reinserting the disk exhibits the same behavior. The disk looks fine. It is clean, showing no scratches. This is understandable as it never leaves the nav unit. I suspect the reading head has a problem. Has anyone had experience with this?
