Here's the problem: The little LCD screen on my stereo sometimes goes blank and then displays random garbage. It happens randomly and rarely. I've seen it happen maybe 10 times over the 7ish months I've owned the car. Sometimes it happens right away, sometimes it happens after being on the road for hours. Sometimes it is fixed by a good whack, or by turning the radio off and on, but it always fixes after cycling the ignition. Anyone seen this before? What causes the issue?
probably a bad solder joint or connection. if you're handy, you can pick up a used one and swap it. if not, they are expensive, so maybe just live with it.
