What are the 5 bulbs for above the low and high beam lights on a 2010 Prius. I've never seen them work on either side... Bought the car new in 2010 and she's still going strong.
They aren't bulbs. They're just greebles molded into the shiny plastic. I don't get why some designers think that's cool, but they're designers, and I'm not.
Thanks for teaching me a new word today! A greeble (/ˈɡriːbliː/ GREE-blee), or "nurnies", is a part harvested from plastic modeling kits to be applied to an original model as a detail element. The practice of using parts in this manner is called "kitbashing" Greeble - Wikipedia
Ours, with the LED headlights, appears to have one actual peanut bulb, number 3 in a row of 5. Not lighting though. Pointing at it: Close up: (Parking lights are on)
Yeah ditto, for the ones behind the orange/yellow lens. But never noticed the ones in the headlight before.
