seems there is really not that much maintenance on the 2010 Prius. Of course 5,000 mile oil changes, yes, I believe they should be at least 7,500 thru 10,000 miles with synthetic motor oil. But there is no drive belts, no alternator to worry about. The battery should last 150,00 to 200,000 miles, maybe more. The engine does not run all the time which should make it last longer than a regular car engine. What do you think ? alfon
