Have to replace my 2010 Prius hatch latch lock assembly, here's the original part from Toyota. Does anyone know if there is an equivalent OEM part from say Amazon or other retailers? Thanks.

Olathe Toyota parts dept has great prices on Parts. Amazon will sell you anything including junk. Rock Auto is another great source.

There are wholesalers who might have new old stock the 2010 is pretty much falling off the business I think by now Amiyama. And others I'm sure . For this part of junk car will even do It's not that big of a deal to replace so if it fails again you'll know how to change it

Just checked that part no (6935047042) on Amayama, quite a bit cheaper, at least at my location ($118.36+$34.19 shipping (CDN)):

    https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/6935047042

I've used them a few times, never any additional charges, beyond cost plus shipping.

For me, all-in, it'd be around $113 USD

They say it's Toyota part no so-and-so; I believe so. Everything I've got from them so far appears to be genuine, including components for a spin-on oil filter conversion.

Like I said I believe they get a bunch of new old stock they buy You know the dealer suppliers out before he even makes it on the boat I guess I have no idea how they do it but it doesn't seem to be being done here as in the States but they seem to do a bang-up business.
