my black 2010 prius is starting to lose half dollar size paint spots on passenger side above window.I am taking in tomorrow to dealer,but is anybody else having problems?
Yes, I have been experiencing this problem for years....above the door, on the top edge of the door right below the window....on the piece of metal trim driver's side edge of the front windshield. They start about the size of a dime but over time get as big as a grapefruit! from water getting in behind the paint! My 2010 has about 5 or 6 of these spots and they grow over time. I have blizzard pearl and they are costly to have fixed!
My 2010 Blizzard Pearl Prius started peeling off white yesterday (2-15-21). May sell it before all of its skin falls off. Several other spots look like they may be next. Want to get rid of it before the psoriasis sets in. Filed complaint with Toyota since I am the original owner. Dealer charged $$$ extra for blizzard pearl color when we purchased it. That was the only color in stock at the time on my dealer's lot. I also have a 2015 Lexus that is white. Is the disease contagious? Will the Lexus start to peel if I park both of them in the garage together?
looks defective. i wonder if toyota would acknowledge it and extend the warranty. at least there's no rust
