Hi I just bought a 2010 Prius V and noticed the energy display is blurry and cloudy. I've read some other thread with others experiencing this issue but didn't find a solution to the problem. It seem to be blurry on the inside part of the display, nothing that can be cleaned off from the outside. Does anybody have a solution to this problem? Thanks
My dealer removed my dash and cleaned the internal instrument panel lenses. I think the issue was condensation from using the AC with windshield defrost. I think they must have done a better job of sealing the units because I have not had a problem since. Luckily mine was under warranty at the time. Others on here reported that their dealers replaced the instrument panel devices.
My car has nearly 60,000 miles and is clearly out of warranty. Reading the complaints online, there really is only a batch of early 2010 models that has this issue. I don't even think I can bring it up to Toyota to cover because it's not a well known issue, except in the early 2010 models. Either case, I'll write to Toyota and see what they can do. Thanks
My 2010 has the same problem. It is not the A C condensation because my A C does not work. I saw a youtube of a guy removing the instrument cluster. It is a huge job.
