2010 T.P Tire Rotation Advice

    Hi I tried to rotate my Prius tires on my own but the rear tire is stuck just wouldn't come out is that normal and should I force it to take it off?

    any help or advice would be nice even links :)

    loosen the nuts, lower the car and kick the tire a few times.

    Go online and check the local tire chain stores for coupons. There is probably one for a free rotation. You must have bought before the free maintenance package was included.

    I'd second Friendly Jacek: lowering car with loose nuts has worked for me a few times. Didn't have to kick the tires, or even lower it fully: at some point during lowering it's always broke loose.

    You want to ensure points of contact at back of the rim are clean. This ensures positive, complete contact, good torque. A very thin wipe of anti-sieze compound on the interface will help.

    Resist the urge to put anti-sieze compound on the stud threads though, at least according to the Owners Manual that screws up the torque values. I've put a little anti-sieze on threads myself in the past, but think I'll stop, and just make sure the threads are clean.
