So I just bought a 2011 3rd gen 4 and did not receive a navigation manual. I got the DVD. My question is don't they come with an actual book? The disk goes over the basics and I'm sure that an actual manual would go into more detail about the ins and outs of the system. So what I'd like to know if it should of come with a nav manual so I can let the dealer know they need to get me one. Thanks in advance for any insight.
First welcome and congratulations on your new purchase. The car should come with an Owner's Manual, a Nav manual and a Warranty and Maintenance manual. At least my 2010 did. I would press the dealer to provide you with the hard copy manuals. In the meantime find attached a pdf file of the Nav manual. Sorry the file would not upload for some reason. I will try again later.
:welcome: welcome to PC. Yes you should have gotten one with your car. If you want a .pdf copy you can get one. Go to this site: Toyota Owners Official Website: Service Coupons, Owners Manuals, Service Scheduling and More Log in using your VIN and go to manuals, you will find the nav manual you are looking for. It consists of 14 different .pdf files, for some reason they are not combined. If you download all 14, one for each chapter, you will have a nav manual.
The Toyota site above has lots of small PDFs. I have put them together into one file, but can't post the link because I have not posted 4 posts (without a link) and have not been liked enough! If you want one big PDF please like this..then I'll be able to post a link!!
So here is the link to the big PDF which is the small PDFs (from the Toyota site) for the Navigation/Media manual combined into one. For Gen 3 2010... https://www.box.com/shared/static/zt4nkhtq4xplvn0ftrgf.pdf
