So i have 2011 prius with 230k miles, a week ago i got abs, brake, traction lights came on and a loud beep sound that doesnt stop, well it stops after driving for a while and comes back again after a while, so on and off all day long, when lights go on the brake pedal doesnt drop at all its very hard to press and hard to stop the car, after 5 minutes of driving the pedal starts working fine, but the lights and sound stay on. Wanted to see prius mechanic they are not available for 2 weeks. I dont drive far, only 5 mile radius

Yes you probably need the expensive parts in the brake system actuator and/or accumulator there are two in that car so you've got to kind of separate them and make sure you're not just buying them both usually that's not what you need.

Rather than having to wait two weeks just to find out what trouble codes your brake system is reporting, you can find out using the Tc to CG jumper wire, count light blinks method.

A little search on this forum will find many posts on how to do that. A good recent one was from Mr. F, here.
