Greetings all. Seems my 2011 Prius (about 72k miles) kinda clunks when putting in gear first thing in the morning. I usually start it and let it run 2-3 minutes and when I put in reverse it seems to engage rough. Seems to drive fine and I have noticed it doing that again during the day. Any ideas? Thanks
Rusty rotors won't clunk till you release the brakes. Sounds like it could be a loose or broken motor mount. And a tip: There's no reason to warm a Prius engine before driving it. The electric part takes most of the load while the engine warms up.
