Hi - this is driving me nuts and I can't find an answer searching through the forums. I have a 2011 Prius Three with Bluetooth phone connectivity, voice recognition, a JBL 8 speaker sound system with 6 CD changer on board, no Nav. I know there are different configurations on these models however does an option include exterior amber side lamps? I have the lens on each side of the car but no light bulbs. Never did actually. I have changed almost all front and parking lamps thus far and I have not seen a way for installing the amber side lamp bulbs inside by the headlights. The headlights also have "cutouts" for LED lights. My question is are these lamps optional? I would also love to have LED lights. Thanks in advance!
The cutouts for LED lights you refer to are purely cosmetic. Not 100% sure about the Prius, but on the Camry, the bumper cover has to be removed, and the headlight assembly removed to access the corner parking light bulbs. Definitely not user friendly IMO. Prius might be the same. SCH-I535
