Just bought a Prius and curious as to different noises under the hood. 1st one that is concerning is vibration or rattling noise when AC is turned on. 2nd is weird gurgling and electrical noises after shutting off the engine. Other than that... Seems to run great!

congrats and welcome! there's a lot of electrical appliances going on under the hood that gas only cars don't have. the noises are all described in the o/m. for instance, when you open the drivers door, you'll hear a buzzing noise; an electric pump is pressurizing the brake actuator. you have an electric 3 way coolant valve, an electric a/c compressor, an electric inverter fluid pump. get to know them. that way, when you have an odd one, you'll know something is not right. i see you have a 2011, how many miles? prius requires some special attention that is not described in your maintenance schedule. all the best!
