Need help. My car shows up this message "Maintenance Required Soon" after start of when I turn off the vehicles. Now not sure how soon that is. There are no other alert lights on. Just that during driving I hear this random beep. Since am at speed may not have looked all warning lights or messages and they might have cleared. Please help know if you faced these random beeps and what the problem could be.Thanks for your help.
the message means your are due for a 5,000 mile maintenance service. what that is depends on your mileage. the beep, idk, maybe low fob battery?
Found it ... Resetting the message indicating maintenance is required (U.S.A. only) After the required maintenance is preformed according to the maintenance schedule, please reset the message. To reset the message, follow the procedures described below: While the hybrid system is operating, switch the multi-information display to the [gear icon] screen. (P. 139) Select “Maintenance System” on the screen. Select “Yes” on the “Oil Maintenance” screen.
If you are going down a hill with a flat at the bottom, the car's radar may detect the flat as a potential barrier and emit a quick "be-be-beep" as a braking warning. Happens to me quite often.
OP has a base model. Neither of these apply, but I wish they did. From page 432 of the 2013 base PiP manual: (When it says, "Keep pressing," it means, "Don't let up." Not "press repeadedly.) LOL!
