I am getting ready to purchase a 2012 Prius 3 - my first! Very exciting. I have gotten quotes from dealers in my SoCal area and am narrowing it down...but was wondering: should I wait for any special deals that may be offered on Black Friday? I've searched online and on this forum for any information and have found nothing regarding incentives. So either 1) the Prius is just too high in demand for dealers to make any offers (regardless of 2013 being on the lot) or 2) Toyota won't release specials until Black Friday. Any suggestions?
The Friday car ads in the LA Times or the Orange County Register are a good place to start. Miller Toyota in Culver Ciity usually has on on special for $23K+.
I don't think black Friday is really related to auto prices. FWIW, the best time to buy a car is the end of the month--they all have monthly quotas, so I'd wait until the end of the following week
$23K for 3 is a really good price. I read somewhere that BlackFriday is the best day of the year to buy a new car. You will have better luck with 2012 models than 2013 models. I bought mine two weeks ago and I paid $24K for my 3 with floor mats. Good luck!
