2012 Prius Heat Blowing Cold Through Center & Right Side Vents

    Hello,

    I recently purchased a 2012 Prius where the A/C works fine throughout, but the heat only blows out of the left drivers side vent, while simaltaneously blowing cool/cold air from the middle vents, and icy cold air from the right passenger side vents. This happens no matter if I have it set to the front defroster, the upper torso, the feet, or a mixture. My mechanic began looking at it today and received no error messages and tested the right side blend door electronically and it's working as it should. Does anyone happen to have any ideas on the cause?

    Have you checked if your coolant is at the right level? Is the 3 way coolant valve operating correctly?

    Three-way valve is a Gen 2 thing (2004–2009).
