Just got a shiny new 2012 Prius 3 and I can't seem to figure a way to move center console/armrest thingy forward so that my right elbow is not stuck in a cupholder. My dealer says it should slide one I open it with the latch. It sure opens but nothing seems to look slideable. Did they take it out in MY2012 or am I not seeing something?

They slid for 2010/11... They do not slide anymore for 2012.

Time to educate my dealer I guess ;) At least now I can stop trying to break it. It does not appear o be a way to adjust the seat/steering wheel so that I can rest my elbow on the actual armrest and still be holding the wheel. And I am a pretty average sized guy. Is there some secret to the setup?

I am 5'10" and drive with the seat back all the way so unfortunately I can't offer help because my elbow is pretty far back from the 2nd cupholder. Maybe find something that can plop in there and make it a more flatter surface. They sell a cigarette holder for the cup holders, maybe putting that in there since it has a lid will make it more flat across the top, or look for some kind of cup holder coin thing at Walmart to stick in there...
