2012 Prius (solar roof) cabin air filter change?

    I was planning to replace the cabin air filter under the glove box on my Prius which has about 19,500 miles on it now. On Toyota website it suggest changing the "solar powered ventilation cabing filter only". What is that ? Is this something different from regular cabin filter under the glove box?

    No, it's the same cabin filter. They just recommend changing it every 20,000 miles instead of every 30,000 because it sees extra use - any time the solar powered ventilation is going, it's sending air through there, so it's picking up more dust than other models would.
