I recently took a road trip and while going uphill I soon realized I couldn't go past 70 mph, and that went and slowly dwindled down to 50 mph and I was able to get on the side of the road. Trying to restart my car ended in it having to be towed after it not being able to start and making a concerning smell. I'm getting codes P3191, P3190, and P0327. Trying to start the car ends in the engine shutting off after a few seconds.
how many miles on her? have you had the ipm udate? is the inverter pump working? air filter clean? oil level good? maf clean? enough gas in tank?
Something wrong with the engine but it could be one of several things. Probably not the hybrid system but don't discharge the hv battery with excessive start attempts.
Actually.... I thought that the 12V battery was used for the starting of the engine, but I could be wrong (probably am).
The 12v runs the computers to get you to Ready. The computers use the high voltage battery and the inverter to spin the transaxle electric motors with three phase ac power when engine power is needed. No 12v starter motor exists.
