Hi all , new to forum so this is my firts post. I installed some hella 500 Black Magic Driving Lights (Fog Lights ) today. Custom frabrication of brackes involving welding and drilling into support beam/ Crash beam was needed. (More of that soon since brackets need tome work ) Fabrication and install of fog lights took about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. What do you guys think, looks diferent than any other fogs on Prius for sure but would like to get some feedback? Thanks, si12j12. More pics to come, only one for now. I would like them further towards the side but I guess there is concern about the tow hook hole being blocked. No possibility of moving it lower so it could fit under the tow hook hole/more towards the outside? (I'm always into performance over aesthetics....)
Hella, Cibie, KC, somebody really needs to come up with a 55W halogen-equivalent functional LED foglamp.
Sadly I removed these and now have some other less intrusive lights there however if I can get the brackets professionally re-fabed or use thick tig welded aluminum then i will re-install.
