Hey there! I was recently looking at certified pre-owned Prius' on Cars' website, and came across a one from 2012 that had 32,209 miles on it, and was going for $15,999 (the seller is also an official Toyota dealership). I'm kind of new to Prius', so would anyone mind telling me if this is, in fact, worth my time, or should I just carry on? Thanks!
It appears to be a basic package, although it does have leather upholstery. Sorry I can't be super specific.
it's important because there is a huge price difference. plug the vin into the toyota owners website. you can get aftermarket leather. a new prius package two (lowest) is around 20k.
Welcome to PriusChat! You've definitely come to the right place to find the answers to all your Prius-related questions. Look at the wheels (7-spokes = 16" (Touring package)), upholstery, options, spoiler size (…yup! …size matters! ) (even down to the little buttons on the front door-handles and tail-gate (they're an easy identification of the presence of a SmartKey system! Good luck!
Yes, package is important. I paid many thousands more with comparable mileage for my 2012 recently but it's a model 5. You should inquire with the dealer what model/package and do your research with that information. Good luck! ;-)
