I'm getting a 2013 prius plug in, in the next few weeks, and I was wondering if the one from this picture has any body mods on it, or if that's the original body.
If it does have any mods, what are they?
Reason being, if that's not the original, then I'm going to get whatever mods this picture has (other than the obvious paint lol)

    Thanks in advance!

That's a 2010-2011 body Prius. You can spend money on your 2013 to change the front bumper to look older. :) The front bumpers are interchangeable. The side mirrors are JDM power folding with turn signals. You can add this. The rims are stock Prius five 17" rims. You can bake the headlights and remove the orange reflector.

The rest of the body is the same as a 2013 Prius.

Wow! You definitely know your Prius'! that impressed me! haha

But yeah, I definitely think the 2010 bumper has a better look to it, how much do you think that'll cost? I'm planning on getting it in Blizzard Pearl.
For the mirrors I think I'll be good with the 2013 ones.
& I'll probably get my own custom rims.
& what exactly would that do for the headlights?

:)Whoa, the cowboy said to his horse. Might be best to get your Prius Plug In in your driveway first. That's a great shot of the Prius Plug In at it's introduction. The paint color and highlights are fantastic and provide most of what you see. Any Gen III Prius with the factory 17" Prius 5 wheels will be a big start. To take a new 2013 Prius and remove a perfectly good bumper cover for a previous look? A nice set of wheels will provide the most visual bang for you buck. That's money well spent in my opinion. Most mods, while fun and provide personalization, result in almost a zero return on resell. Choose them wisely, for best overall results.

I love cars. So it's fun for me to find out every detail about my own.

Here is someone selling an old BP bumper: Once you see the 2013 model bumper to compare, I doubt you will do this change.

Here is a DIY for baking headlights to melt the glue so you can open it up: you would just remove the orange corner reflector to match your pic.

It's odd that of the 4 mods I mentioned, the two that might increase resale, the rims and mirrors are the ones you reject. The two that will decrease or not affect resale are the ones you embrace, bumpers and orange reflector.

Anyway the side mirrors is an easy project IMHO.
