Hello all and thanks for reading. I am replacing the rear spoiler for my 2013 Prius base model. It was snatched off by the garage door (a common problem I’ve been reading here). QUESTION: when the rear spoiler is cracked off the back as such, DOES THE METAL BEND WITH THE SPOILER???? Meaning when the spoiler is stretched off the back with the bolts intact does it pull on the metal it’s attached to?!? I ask because when installing the replacement spoiler, it DOES NOT SIT FLUSH with taillights!!!! It is slightly raised and wobbly. Is the metal also damaged and needing some kind of bending back? Or is it a bolts and tightening/positioning problem? PLEASE HELP!!!
