Hey everyone, so I just bought a 2013 prius 2 and I am wondering how do I get the overall MPG to show on my screen or how do i find it out? Right now I understand the 5 minute and the live consumption but I am trying to find out how do I get the total MPG for the life time of the car. I have already understood the trip consumtions but on a friends older prius model her display has an average MPG next to her Odometer. I have read the manual and handbook but I cannot find anything telling me how to change the settings for this. Id appreciate all the help!
The Gen3 (2010+) does not have a lifetime MPG display. Does your friend have an old Prius, such as Gen2 (2004-2009)? Or has she dedicated TripA or TripB to be used for lifetime MPG? If the later, beware that it can be inadvertently erased by simple user error, either by a driver or by a service technician.
