I'm preparing to purchase preowned 2014 Toyota Prius V three tomorrow (Dec 28th 2017). Mileage : 106,000 miles one owner Previous Owner: Goverment owned Can anyone offer any suggestions on what I should ask or test at the Toyota Dealership before I sign the purchase agreement papers ? Is there a reading or test that a Toyota Dealership can test and I can read to make sure the Lithium Battery is strong, good or weak ? Thanks for any help. D
If you're in the States, the Prius v uses a NiMH battery located beneath the cargo floor. (European and Japanese models with 7 seats are the ones with the Li-Ion battery between the front seats, under the centre console but the US never got that version).
If it has been maintained by a Toyota dealer, and you have the VIN, you can see all service it has needed. Track Your Service Records with Your Toyota Owners Account My 2012 Prius v station wagon has only needed routine maintenance, bulbs, and tires in 108,000.
