Interesting. The article states there has been no redesign since 2010. Perhaps minor tweaks to get the better offset frontal crash resulted in the lower 4 star rating for the driver in the frontal impact? Or did they raise the bar for 5 star beyond the score the Prius got? I really wish they would release the detailed numbers.
I am confused also if this applies to other 2014 Prii. Maybe we learn a little more next month or so when 2014 CR annual auto issue comes out.
